摘要：This presentation introduce basic ASIC design flow from ideas to GDSII. First it cover a few business considerations followed by detail engineering steps in ASIC design flow. Secondly some major EDA tools will be introduced in order to finish ASIC design. Last ASIC design schedule will be provided as a reference. Some examples will be introduced.
报告人简介： Jinrong (TOM) Tang graduated from Xiamen University in 1983. He received master degree in laser physics from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics Academia Sinica, Shanghai in 1986 and master degree in electrical engineering from Brigham Young University in 1995. He has ASIC design positions in different companies which include GEIRI North America, Brodcom, Micrel, Exar, LSI, Crosslayer Network, Cirrus Logic. He has tape-outed multiple ASIC design chip in area of Mixed-Signal RF wireless, GPS and touch controller, Ethernet switch and router, telecommunication and hard disk drive controllers.
